Its title is a direct call: it says "come to me" to a bride whose hands are dyed with henna. The song's name occurs in Haluk Yücel's 2018 article, which examines the songs of Amasya by subject, type, metre and scale; there it is counted as a kırık hava and its metre written as 2/4. What has been published about it goes no further than these two marks.

Lyrics
The words are not found in any published collection, nor has the notation of the tune been printed. The "kınalı gelin" of the title is a bride whose hand has been dyed with henna before the wedding, or a newly married bride. Who the bride is and who is calling her cannot be known without the song's other lines.
Story
Although its subject is a bride, there is no record showing that the song was sung on the henna night or at a wedding. No source recounting how it arose has been found either.
Musical Features
Another Amasya song about a bride is the henna air Geline Bakın Geline in the TRT repertoire; in Yücel's metre table that one is marked 9/8 and this song 2/4. The two works stand on separate rows of the table and Yücel draws no link between them. "Kınalı gelin gel bana" comes, on page 382 of the table, immediately after "Kar kalmadı Amasya'nın dağında". As the article gives the distribution of makams only as numbers, there is no information about the song's scale.
Performers and Recordings
No singer's interpretation or TRT recording of the song is documented, and where Yücel took it from is not written in the article. For Amasya's melodies as a whole, see the general article.
