The Hüseyin Ağa Madrasa
In Amasya there is a madrasa built in 1488, in the time of Bayezid II, at the wish of the Kapı Ağası Hüseyin Ağa; it is known as the Büyük Ağa or Kapı Ağası Madrasa. Small domed student rooms line the courtyard, which has an octagonal plan; the largest domed room was used as a lecture room, and today it is used for the training of local youths as hafız. The building Hüsameddin calls the "Hüseyin Ağa Madrasa" is most likely this one; but the text does not say so openly, and this is an inference.
