The Hemze Chapter is the first section of the second part and is found in the sixth volume of the book. In this section are listed people whose names begin with Âbâd Bey, Abdâl Sultan, Atabeg, Ece Sultan, Âdem Bey, Âzerî, Arslan Bey and the like. Most of these are beys, scholars, poets, sheikhs and Janissary aghas who lived around Amasya.

The last sentence in the chapter heading is the Arabic phrase "ve billâhi'l-avnü ve't-tevfîk". It is a formula written in old books when beginning a section, to ask God for help and success. The following chapters continue by the same method.
