The Notables of Köprü in the Sources
The town of Köprü (today Vezirköprü) is the place where Köprülü Mehmed Pasha spent time in the seventeenth century during periods out of office and to which he returned; but no information was found in the sources examined about the Hacı Paşazades and the Danacıoğulları mentioned by Hüsameddin, or about İsmâil Efendi of Küre. The text also does not make clear which place the "Küreli" epithet refers to. Since he died in 1151 [1738-39], İsmâil Efendi lived in the first half of the eighteenth century; apart from his son's name, nothing is known of his descendants.
