The Russian War and the Return to Amasya

What stands out in the record is that Ahmed Ağa returned to Amasya after his war service and became superintendent of revenue farms: the rank he won in the palace and in war turned into the management of a revenue in his hometown. The year 1188 corresponds to the Treaty of Küçük Kaynarca, signed in 1774. The year of his death, 1193, falls in 1779, the year of the conflict between the Canikli and Çapanoğlu families in Amasya; the text does not mention this conflict.
