İlyâs Kadı in the Sources
Hüsameddin does not write in which Mes'ûd's reign İlyâs Kadı died; the entry says only "the Seljuk Sultan Mes'ûd." Because more than one ruler of this name is found in Anatolian Seljuk history, the date of death cannot be determined with certainty from the text. No information was found in the sources read on a judge known by this name in Amasya, on his son Sadreddîn Mehmed, or on the land known as the "İlyâs Kadı Land."
