He was the son of Mirzâ Beyzâde Alî Bey, one of the emirs. He was among the renowned zeamet holders and became alaybeyi in the Shirvan Wars and afterwards mîrlivâ (sanjak governor). He had a fine fountain built in front of his mansion in the Bâyezîd Pasha quarter. Having endowed his properties for the upkeep of this fountain, he died in 1009 [1600-01] in the War against the Brigands.

The Shirvan Wars
Hüsameddin does not give a date for these wars. Among the Ottoman-Safavid wars, the conquest of Shirvan took place in Lala Mustafa Pasha's campaign of 1578. The Pasha defeated Safavid advance forces at Çıldır (9 August 1578), entered Tiflis, routed another Safavid force on the banks of the Kura, and on 15 September 1578 entered Ereş and took Shirvan. The lands taken were divided into four beylerbeyliks. In which campaign Alî Bey's son served as alaybeyi cannot be understood from the text; it may have been the campaign of 1578 or the Shirvan operations of later years, but this is a guess.
The War against the Brigands
The year 1009 corresponds to 1600-01. This date falls in the years when the Celali rebellions were widespread in Anatolia. At the end of the sixteenth century the Ottoman state had fallen into an economic crisis, banditry had spread in Anatolia, and after 1596 thousands of people left their villages and fled to safer towns. After Karayazıcı Abdülhalim, his brother Deli Hasan had overrun Kütahya and in 1603 was pacified by being given the beylerbeylik of Bosnia. Which engagement Hüsameddin means by "War against the Brigands" is not stated; it was probably one of the Celali events (an inference).
The Bâyezîd Pasha Quarter
The quarter must have taken its name from Bayezid Pasha of Amasya; this is an inference, since the sources draw no explicit link between the quarter and the mosque. The Bayezid Pasha Mosque on the bank of the Yeşilırmak was built in April 1414 (817) by Bayezid Pasha, a vizier of Mehmed I, and its deed of endowment is dated January 1418. No trace of Mirzâ Beyzâde Alî Bey, his son or the fountain was found in other sources.
