In Modern English
He was a native of Amasya. He was the son of Emîr Mübârizeddîn İsâ Bey, one of the leading beys; İsâ Bey was the son of Emîr Musliheddîn Mustafa Bey, who in turn was the son of the beylerbeyi Hacı Şâdgeldi Pasha. He was the brother of İshâk Bey, conqueror and governor of Bosnia. Under Sultan Murad II Han, because of the Princes' Incident, he was removed from Amasya in 831 [1427-28] together with his family and relocated to İnegöl.
In 841 [1437-38] he became lala to Sultan Mehmed II Han (the Conqueror) and his adviser in affairs of state. At the sultan's first accession he became his silahdâr; when the sultan was deposed he went with him to Manisa and from there left as governor of Bursa. In Muharrem 855 [1451], at the sultan's second accession, he became governor of Silistre, and in 857 [1453], at the conquest of Istanbul, he died a martyr. His sons were Ya'kûb Bey and the former grand vizier İshâk Pasha. He was one of the famous beys.

The Princes' Incident and Amasya
Before Amasya fully entered Ottoman administration, it was the seat of the principality of the family of Hacı Şadgeldi. Şadgeldi is recorded as emir of Amasya from 1359 until his death in 1381; at first he was subordinate to Eretna Bey, and after the latter's death he acted independently. In the following period he preserved his position with Ottoman support. This past forms the ground on which his descendants rose to high posts in Ottoman service.
The details of the "Princes' Incident" in the text could not be found in any other source in my searches. The sources found describe Murad II as sanjak governor in Amasya in his youth, but do not mention the relocation of Şadgeldi's descendants to İnegöl in 831. This information therefore rests solely on Hüsameddin.
It should be noted that there are two distinct viziers named İshâk Pasha. The entry on İshak Pasha in the TDV İslâm Ansiklopedisi describes the İshak Pasha who was grand vizier under Mehmed II and Bayezid II; Hüsameddin, in Amasya Tarihi, distinguishes İshak Pasha b. İbrâhim from Sarı İshak Pasha b. Abdullah. Which of these is the "former grand vizier İshâk Pasha" of this entry cannot be told from the entry.
