In Modern English
He was a native of Amasya. El-Hâc İbrâhim Tâceddin Bey, governor of Sivas, was the son of Hayreddin Halil Bey, known as Hacı Kutlu Beyzâde, who was the son of Alâeddin Ali Şah. He was famous as Hacı İbrahim Çelebi. He studied and became one of the scholars. When Sultan Murad II was governor of Amasya in his princely days, he served as city steward; in 823 [1420] he was provincial registrar (the official who recorded population and revenue), and in 826 [1423] he was treasurer of the province of Rum, as seen in the addendum to the waqf deed of Paşa Hatun, daughter of Osman Pasha, drawn up at that date.
In 838 [1434-35] he became treasurer to Prince Sultan Ahmed, governor of Amasya, and when the latter died in 841 [1437-38] he became treasurer to the other prince, Sultan Mehmed II, as well. He died in the early part of 843 [1439-40]. His son, the vizier Kemâleddin Ahmed Pasha, is well known. His descendants came to be called the Kemal Pashazades. He was a scholar, skilled in accounts, and of a gentle disposition.

Treasurer of the Prince's Palace
The posts held by Hacı İbrahim Çelebi show how the princely palace in Amasya functioned. After his father Çelebi Mehmed made Amasya his base and became sultan in 1413, Prince Murad was sent to Amasya as sanjak governor at the age of twelve, together with his lala Yörgüç Pasha, and remained in that post until 1421. Hacı İbrahim's term as city steward in 823 [1420] falls in this period. In 1435, when Yörgüç Pasha was sent to Edirne as its guardian, the elder prince Ahmed Çelebi, who had been born in Amasya, became sanjak governor; he held the post for about three years and died in Amasya in 1438, which agrees with the date 841 [1437-38] given by Hüsameddin. After Ahmed's death the eight-year-old Mehmed (the Conqueror) was sent to Amasya. However, Halil İnalcık doubts whether Mehmed was in fact a sanjak governor. Hüsameddin's statement that "he became treasurer to Sultan Mehmed-i Sâni as well" falls within this debate.
The Kemal Pashazades
Hüsameddin mentions Hacı İbrahim's son Kemâleddin Ahmed Pasha as a vizier and writes that his descendants were called the Kemal Pashazades. This name recalls the great Ottoman scholar Kemalpaşazade (Ibn Kemal, born 1469). Kemalpaşazade himself is named after his grandfather Kemal Pasha, who served as lala to Prince Bayezid; his father Süleyman Çelebi was transferred to the sanjak governorship of Tokat in 1478. His birthplace is recorded as Tokat in some sources and Edirne in others, and it has also been claimed that he was from Amasya. The encyclopedia entry bases the claim that Kemalpaşazade was from Amasya on Hüsameddin. However, since the section we read does not give the name of Kemal Pasha's father, it could not be determined whether he was a son of Hacı İbrahim.
No information was found in other sources about the waqf deed of Paşa Hatun, daughter of Osman Pasha, or about Hacı İbrahim Çelebi's record in that document. The redirect "Tâceddin İbrahim Çelebi" in entry 73 most likely points to this entry.
