In Modern English
He was a native of Amasya. He was the son of Hâbiloğlu Zeyneddin Tuli Han Bey, governor of Amasya; Tuli Han Bey was the son of Şeyh Emir İzzeddin Hasan Bey, who was the son of Emir Şücâeddin Hâbil Bey, who was the son of Emir Bedreddin İbrahim Bey, who was the son of Tuli Bey, who was the son of Türkanşah, who in turn was the son of Emir Şehâbeddevle Güdül Bey. Because he was the brother-in-law of Sultan Eretnazâde Emir Nâsıreddin Mehmed Bey and the maternal uncle of his son Alâeddin Ali Bey, he was called Âhî Dayı (Âhî Uncle).
In the time of his father's emirate he had become Emir of Tokat. He held this emirate several times. He lived for years in Tokat as emir. There he had a zaviye built. This zaviye became famous as the Âhî Dayı Zaviyesi. He died during the emirate of Sultan Eretnazâde Ali Bey. His sons, the emirs Kemâleddin Kâmil and Celâleddin Hâbil Bey, had the waqf deed of this zaviye drawn up. The sons of Kâmil Bey stayed in Tokat, and the sons of Hâbil Bey, Hasan and Abdülhalîm Bey, stayed in Amasya.

Âhî Dayı: Kinship with the Eretnid Court
"Eretnazâde Emir Nâsıreddin Mehmed Bey," named in the entry, is Mehmed Bey, son of Alâeddin Eretna, the founder of the Eretna Principality; in 1365 he was killed in Sivas by his own emirs Hacı Şadgeldi, Hacı İbrahim and Kılıcarslan. His son Alâeddin Ali Bey was thirteen years old then, and the emirs began to act separately from one another. Ali Bey, in the period of Kadı Burhâneddin's vizierate, launched two expeditions against Amasya, and during the second he died in 1380 because of plague. Hüsameddin's expression "he died during the emirate of Sultan Eretnazâde Ali Bey" can be placed in these years, that is, between 1365 and 1380.
The nickname "Dayı" comes directly from kinship. Tâceddin İbrahim, son of Tuli Han of the Hâbiloğulları, was the brother-in-law of the Eretnid sultan and the maternal uncle of Ali Bey.
No separate source was found in this research on the zaviye in Tokat and its waqf deed. Whether the Âhî Dayı Zaviyesi still stands today could not be determined either. Among the Eretnid emirs who ruled in Tokat, the name in this entry does not appear in the encyclopedia entries we examined; it is written that Şeyh Necib governed in Tokat as an Eretnid emir.
