Tayyar Mehmed Pasha and Ladik
The name "Tayyar" in the entry recalls Tayyar Mehmed Pasha, who served as grand vizier for about four months in late 1638 under Murad IV. According to the sources, Tayyar Mehmed Pasha was from Ladik, which belonged to the sanjak of Amasya; his father was Uçar Mustafa Pasha, formerly steward (kethüda) of Nasuh Pasha and then governor of Baghdad, who died in office in 1625. Hüsameddin's nicknames "Uçar Paşazâde" and "Uçaroğlu" are also tied to this family. In the text, Hüseyin Bey's father appears as "Tayyar Mustafa Pasha" and is counted as a descendant of Tayyar Mehmed Pasha's brother.
Those Who Fell at Vienna
The year 1094 that Hüsameddin gives is that of the second siege of Vienna, led by Merzifonlu Kara Mustafa Pasha (July-September 1683). Both beys are written to have fallen as martyrs in the same battle; the name of neither was found in the general accounts of the siege, so the details of their deaths remain limited to the information in the text. İbrâhim Bey's post as "commissioner of the Gümüş mine" most likely relates to the mines in the district of Gümüş, attached to Amasya; the Gümüşhacıköy mine was for a long time an important mine worked for the state. This interpretation is not written directly in the text.
