The Sultan Bayezid Mosque and the Madrasas
The Sultan Bayezid II Complex was built in 1485-86 as a whole consisting of a mosque, madrasa, soup kitchen (imaret), tomb, ablution fountain (şadırvan) and fountain. The mosque where İbrâhim Efendi taught for many years is the place of worship of this complex. The Hızır Pasha Madrasa was built in 1466 by Hızır Pasha, sanjak bey of Amasya, and formed a complex together with a mosque, imaret, bath, school and şadırvan. The Halfet Gâzi (Hilfet Gazi) Madrasa, on the other hand, is a much older foundation tied to the period around 1222, when the Danishmendid emir Hilfet Gazi was governor of Amasya on behalf of the Seljuks, and its waqf deed is dated 1225. The building Hüsameddin calls the "Hüseyin Agha Madrasa" must be the one that is called the Büyük Ağa Madrasa in Amasya today; this is an inference.
The Çeribaşı Mosque and Halkalı Dede
The Çeribaşı Mosque is in the Şehirüstü district of Amasya, and beside it stands the Tomb of Halkalı Evliya (Halkalı Dede). The tomb is a domed structure set on four piers; it takes its name from two black stones with rings on their sides that were formerly inside it. The garden in which Hüsameddin writes that İbrâhim Efendi is buried is beside this tomb.
No information could be found in any source other than Hüsameddin about the village of Ermiş and the book İbrâhim Efendi wrote in.
